Singapore Hokkien · structured speaking lessons
Short guided lessons built around one loop: a native-speaker voice models the phrase, you say it back, and your pronunciation is scored with specific feedback — every phrase, every session.
No card required. Your first guided lessons are free.

The method
Not flashcards and not a phrasebook — deliberate speaking practice with measurable feedback, from your very first phrase.
A native-speaker voice says the phrase clearly, at natural pace. Replay as many times as you need.
Record yourself on any device. Your audio is scored and then discarded — only the result is kept.
You see what was heard, a match and clarity score, and a specific tip — pass and move on, or try again.
The curriculum
Structured topic packs, each ending with a real-world field test — order at the kopitiam, call your grandmother, survive Chinese New year visiting.
The accent and phrases your family actually uses — learned from native speakers, not textbook Taiwanese. Simplified characters and plain street spelling; no Tâi-lô homework.
Every recording is graded against a native reference for match and clarity, with a specific correction each round — you always know which sound to fix next.
Each phrase you practised is recorded with its meaning and your score, sorted into revise / practising / mastered — measurable progress, ready for review.
Sessions are capped and structured: warm-up, revision of weak phrases, at most two new ones, cool-down. Consistency over cramming.

FAQ
Yes — the course assumes nothing. Lessons start from your very first phrase, and by the end of lesson one you'll be able to ask someone if they've eaten, with pronunciation that passes a native-reference score.
You speak, and you're scored. Every phrase, your pronunciation is graded against a native reference and you're told exactly which sound to fix — then you try again until it sticks. Reading and watching can't close that loop.
No — the tutor is AI, and we never pretend otherwise. The voice and the Hokkien are learned from native Singapore speakers; the patience is unlimited, and it's available at 11pm.
Singapore. The course teaches heartland Hokkien — the phrases used at local dinner tables — in simplified characters with plain street spelling. No Tâi-lô romanization homework.
Each recording is sent for scoring and then discarded — only the score is kept. Your vocab logs and progress belong to you: export or delete everything, anytime.
